Citi Select - ATO payments

Just an update.... decided to call Citibank and complain about no notification re no more ATO reward ponts. They gave me the "govt charges story" and I asked to speak to a manager. They put me thru to Robert who was sympathetic to my plight. He said he would take it further and get back to me in a few days. To his word, 2 days later he called back to say they would honour the ATO transaction this time and will credit 34, 412 points to my rewards account. This was for a transaction in October. The ones that I missed out on previously back to March wil not be credited. I guess I have to happy with this :). Got to have a win sometimes. Moral of the story, always speak to a Manager.

how many points do you have sitting in Citibank ?, I was thinking of calling regarding missing ATO points but didn't want to rock the boat.
 
I rang up two weeks ago about missing points from an ATO payment made in June. Operator awarded me 1:$1 points with no hesitation. Didn't bother asking for 1.5:$1.
