Citi Ready Credit - 70k Velocity points with $500 balance transfer

And there’s mine too. Lovely! Time to cancel.
Oh, that makes it tricky for me.

Wondering whether it's still worth waiting until the end of September to give my number for my Qantas points in the hope they're slow (so as to get them in my new membership year starting 1 November) or getting the bird in the hand now. Decisions, decisions...

Does anyone know if I have to activate the Citi Ready Credit card to qualify for the bonus points? Approved 8 July, Did all the transfers, got email to provide QFF number on 14Aug which I responded to straightaway. Havent got the points yet.

I don't know, but they seemed awfully insistent that I did so (even though the previous emails indicated they would not send a new credit card if not eligible), so I did to avoid anything going wrong.
