Card Promotions Citi Ready Credit - 70k Velocity points with $500 balance transfer

A related question to this product: I have a Citi Prestige card, 2 years ago they offered 150K Velocity points for some loan/money, took up that offer and everything was fine, closed that account.
Today I receive an offer with similar terms: 100K points for $5000, $199 fee and 8.9% interest for 5 years. However, reading the T&C, it said if I already got the offer of 100K points previously (it spells out 100,000 points exactly), I won't be able to get this 100K bonus points. My last offer was 150K points so the question: was anyone in the similar situation and what was the outcome ?

Edit: the previous offer was 150K points not 250K.

Here are the texts:

"Offer exclusions: This offer is available only once per customer. This offer is not applicable or valid in conjunction with any other advertised or promotional offer. If you have previously received, or are entitled to earn, 100,000 Flybuys Points with this offer, you will not be eligible to earn another 100,000 Flybuys Points with this offer."

Well got my card, transferred the $5K -repaid $4.5K, got my points a week later, repaid the loan about to close the account.
What was the timeline from you receiving and activating the card and them asking for your FF number? Do you mean you got your points one week after you repaid your account or after you submitted your FF number?
Did you bother calling them to make the initial transfer or simply did it from your account (ie didn't bother with activating the whole introductory lower rate thing)?

And do you need the card to arrive? The ReadyCredit account shows in my online banking I wonder if I can just withdraw online somehow to trigger the bonus points?

It's been more than 1 week since I made the $5000 transfer. Still haven't received the email asking for my velocity number yet. Anyone know how long do we need to wait?

1. Does the balance have to be transferred via telephone call or can it be done online?
Got the points after doing it online. You only have to do it over the phone if you want to activate the lower interest rate introductory offer thing which I'm guessing is not really of interest to churners here.

Probably varies but I got mine 2 weeks after the transfer and just over a week before the 1st month's statement and bonus points arrived.

I just followed the website and did it over the phone to be safe. I guess it also means over the 2-3 weeks of waiting the interest accruing will be a bit lower too.

Already 2 weeks after the transfer, still no email asking me for my velocity number.

After I made the transfer of $5000, I paid back $4850 immediately.
I hope paying most of it back immediately didn't cause any issues?

I thought you have to keep the $5k loan out until you get the Velocity email?
