Christchurch Manaia lounge for 0730 QF departure

I'm flying Qantas from Christchurch to Sydney in J in a few weeks and struggling to work out whether they offer a lounge for this flight for Qantas Club or business flyers.

From what I can see, the 7:30am departure is the only flight that Qantas operates themself (i.e. not JQ or EK) from Christchurch now (after recent schedule changes after the EK codeshare deal went through). Despite this, the Qantas website still says that the Manaia lounge is the only lounge available and that it opens at 11:30am.

Does anyone know whether there is in fact lounge access for this flight? And if so, when the lounge actually opens??

I've tried to calling Qantas but they were completely useless. Also tried calling the lounge but no joy there either as they didn't answer.

Appreciate any help!

Welcome to the forum

They may not be open just now. They do open for JQ166 20:45 flight, but at times no one enters.
The only lounge attendant is on the desk & refills the bar-food.
I will ask on Monday evening when I fly JQ166 if they open for the 07:30. Expect they would

The lounge was open for the QF flight in November, and reasonably busy too. I think QF have just been lazy in not updating their website.

Indeed it does. Asked as I entered a few minutes ago.
