Had the fastest status match in my history recently.
HH Diamond to Choice Platinum.

Joined the program, sent an email off to [email protected]. with my Choice number and pic of my Hilton Card and Expiry (from the App).
Replied 45 minutes later.

I had booked a stay at Clarion ARL, standard room.
On check-in thanked for my loyalty and upgraded to suite top floor.

Congratulations! Based on your elite level with Hilton Honors, you have been upgraded to a Choice Privileges® Elite Platinum member; the highest level awarded under our Status Match program. Things are getting desperate. With the tassie borders closed, I thought I wouldn’t be able to extract any value out of my Hilton Honors status this year, but it appears it got me a status match to Choice (one of the few chains in Tassie that has a loyalty program). Who knows if platinum status with Choice actually has any value (apart from an extra 100 lousy Velocity points), but it’s the thrill of the points chase, right?
