Add to that no spitting wherever you like, a "no smoking" sign is a rule and not an advisory sign, and conversations should not be conducted across the room at 90 dB and greater without a good reason.

Does this mean when I am in China I can spit and pee in pools in the cause of 'when in do as'.

Perhaps it's time for the Australian government to do the same for some of its citizens? :p

A little discipline never hurts for Aussies but I can't see Barry McKenzie following these orders.

For quite a while the Chinese government and their ruling elite have been embarrassed by their peasants behaviour at home. I guess their now extends to their citizens traveling abroad.

Does it include advice on not hiring cars in the interests of road safety for local drivers? :p
