So... I stuffed up!

Flew into GZ on Friday with my Chinese visa expiring the day before. So naturally it was all to difficult at the airport to arrange a VOA so I had to book a flight to HK for tomorrow and am here on a 72 hour transit visa.

Long story short, I have booked to fly into HK on Thursday night.

What is the latest with getting a visa in HK.

I have booked a return flight on Thursday morning at 8am but my research leads me to believe that a same day visa means I have to enter China through Shenzen.

Any help or tips would be appreciated, obviously things are proving difficult

I'd contact Forever Bright ASAP.

I got a same day visa with them 2 years ago. The rules have changed since then but they still seem to offer it with an appointment.

They are very easy to deal with. At least ask them anyway.

As an update:

Arrived in HK on Tuesday at 11:50pm, caught the MTR Airport Express to Hong Kong, checked into the IBIS Hotel.

From there, in the morning, I walked about 800m to the CTS (China Travel Service) office and joined the very short queue.

Consisted of Passport, HK Visa Slip (VOA), Application form, $2200 HKD and letter from one of my Chinese Suppliers.

Collected "M" Visa for China at 5:50PM....

All in all, very expensive, but well worth it!
