Flew with MU a couple of years ago. Old wet leased B767 to Pudong then A340 to Frankfurt. B767 was dodgey, FA split a full glass of coke on one of the passengers, FA English barely passable. Flight deck door left open for the whole time in the air. No IDE, just small tablets to watch Chinese movies on, no problems for me, but none Chinese speaker would not like it. Asked for a glass of wine with our meal and got shown 6 different bottles of French wine, "which one u like", 2 were 2003, and 1 2001 vintage Cote du Rhone. Choose the 2001, and they left us the whole bottle, 2 bottles late, yes 2 bottles late, slept like a baby!!. But all in all, a good flight.
PS The glass of coke was split on a brand new laptop, and very unhappy passenger.

Do MU have their own lounge in PVG? Or like QF do they just use the terrible generic one? I actually can't believe QF pay for their pax to use this lounge - and don't try to get it tricked up at all......
