China Airlines Business Class in Hong Kong

Hi All,

This is my first post

I am flying from Hong Kong on China Airways Business class to Taipei and then onto Brisbane. Does anyone know which Lounges Business Class passengers can use? I know there are paid access lounges in Hong Kong but i cant figure out if you get complimentary access to any with my China Airways BC airfare?

For plaza premium lounge at HKG airport, the lounges at Gate 1 and Gate 60 are the most popular, both lounges cover around 15,000 sq ft, offering 300 seats. The lounge at Gate 1 is closer to the security checkpoints and thus attracts more travellers, you may want to think about seeking out the lounge at Gate 60 if possible.

And if for any reason you need to stay overnight at HKG airport, use the lounge near gate 35, which allows staying overnight after a hot shower.

Yes, you can. I flew with CI from HKG to TPE in December. Here's the lounge invitation that the check-in staff gave me. The Plaza First Lounge was packed during peak hours. Make sure you go to the First Lounge as there's a normal Plaza lounge for credit card passes located next door.

I got in as a lowly gold member with another airline (Y class not J even) they must like burning $$$ given the short-haul flight costs 1/4 the usual transcontinental flight

i almost believed you that there were 2 First lounges how naive of me and I was thinking which I should visit next time. As two roads diverge in the HKG and I had to chose which to take and ponder at the road not taken. And that has made all the difference
