China Airlines $1800 PEY MEL-AMS (extremely limited)

Just a couple departure dates available in March (sampe dates 9-16 March) - MEL-AMS $1812 return on CI.

Looks like they are now running a 777 on the MEL-TPE legs (2-4-2 in PEY) but the A350 to AMS on those dates (nice new 2-3-2 cabin).

The bulkhead seats are the ones to go for on CI - but it appears the 777 blocks these for elites, whereas the A350 does not (so you can select the bulkhead at the time of booking).

Long stopovers in TPE or 19 hours.

Other fares for other dates in the $2000 range (but probably better to take the JL/AY fare in those cases).

Nice update on CI, thank you. I'm spewing those JL PE fares aren't year round. I got excited a few weeks back when I first came across them, then noticed my dates had reset to Feb not August by which time they have ditched the PE. ~$2500 on JL PE is a real no brainer.
