Hi people

Can anyone confirm that you can check your bags in at Kowloon station for a HK-MELB flight (Qantas/Finnair). I know the obvious answer is "Ring Qantas" but the person I spoke to there had never heard of anyone checking in at either HK or Kowloon (and wasn't going to put herself out to find out).

We've previously done it at HK station for a Cathay flight and its a great service (one day, Melbourne?)

Yep sure can. Did it myself at Christmas. I use train check in all the time especially where the check in isn't open at the airport.

Of course. It is a much better option than checking in at the airport - its always open and you never need to queue!

And you can check in early enough to jump on a train and make proper use of the airport facilities available to you. ;)

I've made good use of this in the past. Is it also available w' TG by some chance?

See the .pdf link on post 4 to see if TG are there. The discount with taxi's has been around for a few years.

Great offer, thanks for sharing!

I have used the Airport Express check-in many times, great for when you leave your hotel early for an afternoon or evening flight. Go to the AEX to send your luggage on its way and then spend the rest of the day wandering around HK with just your backpack for carry-on.
