Hi everyone,
Tried to search for an answer for this but couldn't find one.
I'm doing a status run on Thursday from HBA - MEL - SYD - OOL
At MEL my partner wants to give me a bag to check in for the rest of the journey as she will be visiting me up on the Gold Coast for 2 weeks soon after and flying up with Jetstar. I was wondering whether checking in a bag was allowed halfway through a journey as it would mean we won't have to fork out baggage charges for her bags on Jetstar a few days later.
I will be flying in J if that makes any difference.

Cheers,
JDogman

You will have no issues what so ever checking luggage partway through a journey as long as you are within your allowance.

Class of travel does not matter.
