Hi all,

I am flying MH from Brisbane to Kuala Lumpur on a enrich award business class flight. I also bought a economy ticket from Kuala Lumpur to Penang on the same day of arrival in KUL. I am hoping to check in right thru to Penang from Brisbane. Will my business class check in luggage entitlement carry on to the economy flight to Penang?

Subsequently, a few days later, I am flying back from PEN to KUL in economy then continuing on from KUL to FRA in business. Would my luggage entitlement be based on the business class ticket?

I actually redeem the enrich award from BNE to FRA and called up to split the ticket with a stopover in KUL (USD100 fee).

Thank in advance for info/help.

If the flights are on separate ticket numbers then you'd be subject to the baggage allowance applicable to each. However, I wouldn't envisage you having a problem using the higher allowance applicable to the particular segment of your journey, which it in what you've described will be the Business entitlement all the way.
