Hi , anyone done any bookings with CheapOair? And are they recommend?also do you pay in AUD or US $, thanks in advance.

I booked an internal US flight with them last July with no problems. From memory I was charged in US$

I just checked it against some other flights I was looking at, and they were offering poorer fight options (24hrs vs. 10 hrs). So I imagine like anything, you need to do your research. Sometimes they will have great deals, and others too good to be true deals.

I booked a flight to the UK using them mid 2018. They came up with the cheapest fare on SkyScanner ... unsure if it was a mistake or was bait-and-switch, the only reason they were cheapest was because they were selling sale fares that had already sold out ... got a ‘phone call from them 15 minutes after booking & had to switch to a more expensive fare which was about $50 more exxy than I could’ve booked through China Airways directly.

I use them to find cheap options but then I go to the airline page to check the direct price. It’s often even cheaper. But they do sometimes have sale fares which are no longer available on the QF site.

Have you booked one of these fares, or only seen them offered?
When I booked one, even after entering credit-card details & getting confirmation from their online system, it turned out the fare was actually no longer available.

Yes I’ve booked them and flown on them.
