So with my international flying for work days behind me for a while, I was cleaning out my "travel" drawer last night and found quite a collection of international bank notes. Probably AU$250+ of NOK, JPY, HKD and USD.

I was wondering if anyone had any tips on the cheapest way to convert a pile of mixed foreign currencies back into AUD?

Simple, bring them to the AFF Xmas Do and ask who wants them for an appropriate price. I reckon they'll be snapped up in minutes and you'll have some good Aussie dollars in your hand to buy us drinks with.

We can all use the small amounts and you'll save on the commission losses.

You know I hadn't though of that, brilliant idea. I will catalogue exactly what I have and see if anyone is interested.
