Hi all,

Just a quick one, what would be the cheapest first class run out of SYD or MEL ??

The cheapest first class flight out of syd/Mel would be to Singapore at around 5-7k return.

Perhaps you mean something else?

Thanks, I would like to treat the wife to a Qantas Frist Class trip somewhere, with out it costing the earth !!

Don't forget Emirates has F to AKL/CHC from SYD/BNE/MEL - you can score these seats for about $2200 return.

Fly from SYD and you get the A380

Does it have to be QF? May be worth looking at US miles on sale for use to BKK, TYO or Europe at about $2300pp.

Yeah was going to suggest if not only looking for a QF/OW only type experience you will get much better value for money trying it with USDM and *A, or maybe even AAvantage if you do have your heart set on a QF experience...

80,000 miles F one way to Europe can be picked up pretty cheaply at the moment with the Feb AAvantage promo..

I was hoping to go with Qantas/OW as so I could rack up an extra 240 status points in the same trip, then that would tip me over to WP1

everyone (bar a few) on AFF does their long haul flights on cheap purchased miles these days, I think they've forgotten what the normal tickets cost now. :)
