My travel is booked up until the end of Feb, which is my renewal month. I'm going to be 30 SC short of Gold, so I'm going to do a status run to get me over the line.

I know this sort of question gets asked all the time, but I was wondering if the experts can find a better/cheaper flight than this:

Red e-deal SYD-ADL-SYD for $270 ( or $92 and 30,000 points).

Any help would be much appreciated.

Is there anything cheap on Jetstar SYD-ADL-SYD? You can add on the points bundle which will get you the SC's. $135 each way on QF is pretty good though.

You could try a multi city of three flights earning 10 SC each. With the current sale you could do SYD-WGA-MEL-SYD for $229 that would give you 30SC.

edit: Although having said that the sale is on flights beginning 29 Feb that does not give you much room to move.

That points cost looks high, should be 24k+$92.

Sent from my iPhone using Aust Freq Fly app so please excuse the lack of links.

JASA SYD-CBR (when Parliament is not sitting) 16K QFF and $81, earns 40 SC's and 1125 QFF.

Can do R/T with economy one way and business the other for 24K and $145 in Feb. Fly down in U on 29th and return in E [sale] the next morning for 24K and $120 :p)
