Possible to look into this issue RedRoo?
Just wanted clarificatino if its a bug or a general repricing of JASA ex SIN?

I strongly suspect that it is not a "bug" at all; international U availability seems to have nosedived this year, to the point where on some routes it is all but nonexistent.
Wrote this PM to Red Roo. Not sure if it is appropriate to post in an open forum? But I thought that the reply would be useful public information?

Hi Red Roo,
I refer to the following thread (not sure if you had picked up on it):
http://www.australianfrequentflyer....yer-program/cheap-jasa-ex-sin-gone-51108.html
As you may know, the Business Anyseat Award, otherewise known as JASA on this forum is a popular tool used by QFF members to get better value for their award bookings.
So I wish to dummy book a JASA SIN - SYD for 30 May 2014.
I see that there is U class availabile on that date on QF6. But when I attempt to book this route as a JASA, the pricing comes in at around ~273k+ points (when this should normally come in at maybe around ~90K+ points). In our experience, this is expensive for a JASA where U class availability is normally present.
This expensive pricing (~200K+ points) seems to be reflected for ALL routes to Australia ex-SIN for all dates as far as I can see. But, we know that just a few months ago, one could snag a JASA ex SIN foor the lower points total.
In light of this, we were wondering:
1/ Is this a deliberate increase in pricing? or
2/ Is this a system bug?
If its the former, then we accept it and will look for alternatives. If the latter, I hope it will be cleared up by the relevant department soon.
PS: Interestingly, booking a JASA SYD-SIN return with U classic availabilty results in a the cheap pricing showing up on both the outbound and inbound legs.

Thanks for your message, and please accept my apologies for the unusual delay in response.
As with any fare types, seats are subject to availability. This is the same whether you're booking online or via our contact centres.
However if I understand correctly, seats are showing available in U class, however not allowing you to book it as a JASA.
This would be something to discuss with our Reservations team as they are the subject matter experts and will be able to review your options.
Cheers.
