I can only imagine the frustration of getting through to agents that do not know either what to do or how to do things. Adding, removing or changing flights is not that difficult I used to make such changes pre covid, during covid and last week. I once thought that getting the free WP status for MrsM was the best reason to retain my status, now I am thinking the ability to get through to competent staff is of greater importance.
A bit off topic, when I ring to change bookings the staff normally ask if I am happy for a call back once the ticket has been reissued or to stay on hold while the ticket is reissued. If it is QF only booking I am happy to be called back, if changing a booking that includes QR, MH, EK and to a lesser extent JL I will remain on hold until I receive the new e-ticket. In the past I have lost flights with QR, EK and JL however QF has always got them back not sure how they did this but it must be possible.
