Hi! I'm looking for some help/advice about booking J award seats, please bear with me!
I've finally earned enough points (transferring from Velocity) to book J on my outbound flights from Europe later this year.
Most of my preferable flights/dates are all on wait list, with only one available J saver award for Munich-Singapore-Sydney
Flight info:

MUC 13:25 - SIN 07:15 (+1)
layover 23hrs 50mins
SIN 07:05 - SYD 17:45

The tiny problem with this flight is that the layover in Singapore is almost 24 hours and ideally I would prefer a much shorter layover.
My question is, if I were to book/confirm this flight, would I then be able to change the SIN-SYD segment to an earlier flight?

There is an award option where the layover is just 2 hours, however that option can only be wait listed.
I'd just like to know if it would be possible to book the award above and then change the connecting flight, without having to cancel the booking and end up wait listing it anyway?

Super appreciate the help!

Yes simple process - book the available flt online and then call KF and request to add your desired connecting flt to the confirmed booking. If and when W/L does clear it will be simple straight forward fee free change. I have done exactly this multiple times.
