Changing a QF booking made with AA miles

Is this possible ?
I have a booking for two pax on QF F DXB-SYD arriving at 0630 and then immediately onwards to MEL at 0830 arriving at 1005 but now I'm thinking I'd rather spend the day in Sydney and get like a 5 or 6pm flight. There were dozens of options when I first booked the flight last month but I chose the immediate connection though now we have changed our mind.

How would we go about changing this booking ?
Would there be any additional charges, like a change fee, etc ?
Any chance I could lose the F leg if i change the SYD-MEL flight ?

Would appreciate any advice from those who have done this or something similar before.

Just call AA and tell them you want to change to a later SYD-MEL flight. You will only have to pay difference in taxes if indeed there is any.
 
Also, would it be possible to use the chauffeur drive in SYD instead of in MEL ?

how long it your transit?

Initially just 90 minutes but I want to change it so I fly the SYD-MEL leg at say 5 or 6pm which would mean an 11 or 12 hour transit (I arrive from DXB at 6:30am).
We can easily get someone to pick us up in MEL so would prefer the chauffeur drive in Sydney if possible.

I doubt it, my understanding is that the CD service is for the start and end of the journey... not so much a "Dubai Connect" style offering for longer connections.
You can always ring up and ask - the worst they can say is no.
 
I have booked QF CBR-xSYD-DXB with a 3h transit and a midday CBR-SYD flight. Afterwards I realised I might rather spend some more time at the Flounge than at home and changed it to a 6.10h transit. Afterwards the option for chauffeur drive appeared at the start & end of EACH leg (similar to 6h being the minimum time for Dubai connect). Not sure whether its a bug or a feature though.
