Thank goodness no other Australian Hiltons are going up in category. We are told Categories are decided on average room rate, and given another poster advised he had been paying $545 a night at Hilton Perth recently, no doubt such rates contributed to the category increase. However I doubt anyone would think that Hilton Perth should qualify for category 7, on any other criteria.

The Parmelia Hilton a category seven, the same as the Hilton Sydney and more than the Hilton Singapore? Wow.

Meanwhile, 330 go up a category and only 137 come down. Hmmmm.
