Is it possible to change return flight booked for say June 2014? If US Airways and AA merge how would re-booking be possible?

A good question... which I doubt ANYone can answer at this point!

Well, there are two questions in my post. I guess your response is to the second part. I would have thought others will give advice about the first...are more miles payable for change or, is there a fee to be paid for change of date?

I expect it would be similar to the BMI exit. Until they leave *A you will be able to make changes, after that, you will only be able to cancel with the points refunded.
