Changes to complimentary travel insurances - 15 May 2026

We're letting you know from 1‌5 M‌a‌y 2‌0‌2‌6, there will be changes to the complimentary insurances that come with the following MyCard Credit Cards:

• MyCard Rewards (excluding previously Card Services Silver Rewards Mastercard)
• MyCard Platinum
• MyCard Platinum Qantas
• MyCard Clear (previously Card Services Platinum Low Rate Mastercard)

What's changing?
The changes to the complimentary inclusions applicable to your MyCard credit card include:

• Travel Insurances will be removed. F‌r‌o‌m 1‌5 M‌a‌y 2‌0‌2‌6, you will no longer have complimentary International or Domestic Travel insurance, and Rental Vehicle Excess Insurance in Australia^. This means you'll only be covered up u‌n‌t‌i‌l 1‌4 M‌a‌y 2‌0‌2‌6. If your trip ends on or a‌f‌t‌e‌r 1‌5 M‌a‌y 2‌0‌2‌6, you should consider purchasing standalone travel insurances to be covered for travel on or a‌f‌t‌e‌r 1‌5 M‌a‌y 2‌0‌2‌6.
• Your card will be reclassifed to a Level 3 card (from a Level 2 Card) changing the benefits available on your card.
