I have a BKK HKG SYD flight in early Jan booked through Zuji. The first leg s CX, the second QF. My question is, I want to change the QF leg to F, does anyone know if this is possible? I searched Zuji for a while last night but couldn't find any FAQ pertaining to this matter.

The closest I have come to this is needing to change a date on a BA J flight booked through Zuji. I called them up and they did change it, applying the BA charge to change. I can't remember if there was an admin charge or not. If there was it certainly wasn't restrictive.

It will depend on the fare and the easiest way to find out will be to call them. Some fares will allow one leg in a higher cabin, other fares won't.

Update:

Zugi call centre is located on Mars.

I explained what I wanted, they said no can't do without forfeiting the original booking - I said fine, will it go as a credit toward the F flights - they said no as this was the airlines policy not theirs :| OK - flogging a dead horse - I'm not happy throwing away $$$$'s for the sake of first, so have just requested a 80K UG to J instead on the QF leg

Do you know if it is a CX ticket or a QF ticket? It is understandable that CX ticket can't be used towards a QF one, but if it was plated to QF, then it would be able to be used as a credit towards the F flight.

If the ticket number starts with 081 it is QF.

My gut feeling is that Zuji is telling you BS re being airline policy not theirs. A lot of these online TA's are allergic to after sales service as it's too much work for them.

I would call the QF Premium Desk & ask them whose 'paper' the ticket on ie CX (160) or QF (081) & get the fare basis for both sectors.

As you made the booking thru an agent the airline will always refer you back to them but find out the fare conds first before you call Zuji back.

IIRC you can access the fare rules on ITA but Serfty would know.

I will bet the rules say fare can be reissued or whatever which would mean Zuji is being economical with the truth.
