Change to seat booking - Malaysia Airlines

Hi everyone.

Does anyone know if I can change my seat allocation on Malaysia Airlines? I booked economy (think that's Y to you guys?? lol) BNE to KUL and paid the extra to pick my seat in 38A. Using Seat Guru, I thought I was being so clever. Then I found out that there are two versions of the A330-300 and I'm most likely on the other version, in which 38A is a little bit of a coughpy seat.

Anyways, any idea if I can change my pre-paid seat? Or will they make me pay again? Also, I've figured I have to phone them to do this as the 'manage my booking' section on the website appears to be super rubbish. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I have called and changed seat allocations on MH, so I would just give them a call. Don't think it would be an issue if you've paid for seat selection..

Thanks, Skip. I phoned today and had it sorted. They even called me back instead of making me wait in a queue. Very impressed.
