Change EK flight number to QF

Hi all, I am currently a Gold FF with Qantas, I have an Emirates flight booked to Europe in August with an EK flight number.
Is it possible at all to get the EK number changed to a QF number for extra Status credits etc?

Alternatively is it possible to purchase an EK upgrade using QF points?

Sorry if this should be in the QF forum instead. I wasn't sure

Hi Jake,
The only way to get your flight on a QF number would be to cancel and re-book the ticket.

You cannot upgrade an EK flight using QF points.

As the others have mentioned you cannot upgrade on an EK flight. You would certainly have to cancel and then rebook, don't think it is worth the money. The other alternative is to join the Emerites Skyward programme and get some miles towards a future trip or upgrade.
