Chamonix recommendations

Hi all, I have just booked 3 nights in the hotel Mont Blanc, Chamonix for February next year, any recommendations for the area would be much appreciated. I'll have my wife and 4 month old in tow.

Buy yourself the 3 day Lift passes. We went on every lift that was available. Several in a day and they all offer very different views. Stunning photo ops.

Take a helicopter ride over Mont Blanc. Zooming up the valleys over the glalciers and then hitting c. 14,000 ft right over MB IIRC the altitude, is pretty serious stuff in a helo. The one I went on was, I think, an ex French military-style thing so it was kind of sports car-ish. Sweeping around some sheer granite walls was white-knuckle - but it got the circulation going! Super stuff!
