Necessity and stigma will force them to work for a living like decent people do.
Or theyll decide that crime does pay, particularly if they dont want to be homeless.

The tax system needs simplification, yes, but show some compassion for other people. Not everything is black and white.

If you get a bank transfer to your account in error you don't have the right to spend it

An error is just that - it's not a bonus. This is taxpayer money after all.
