Cello takes the comfort seat but no points

Rather unfortunate tail of a muso having his points confiscated by Delta having bought a seat and claimed points for his Cello

Not sure how that was possible - surely the other seat was bought in his name rather than for Mr Cello? Then he should be entitled to collecting the points as he was physically present on the plane....I don't think anything in T&C stops you from buying several seats for yourself and getting the points
anyway, Delta got bad publicity out of it but I feel sorry for the bloke

At least he was allowed to take his cello onboard. QF have changed their ways in the last few years, but for a long time they wouldn't allow it. Ridiculous when you consider they sponsor performing arts organizations that use them.
