When Qantas moved to restrict how credit card points were able to be moved to them, I was vocal against the move and skeptical. I honestly thought it would be a failure, and they would revert back relatively quickly.

(A few high end cards weren't affected.. so not all customers are required to direct sweep)

However, it is still going on, and hasn't been wound back. So obviously it is working for them.

For me, I credit nothing CC wise to qantas (previously credited most). It has broadened my appreciation for other ff schemes and how points can be used with them.

So how has it changed your views and actions?
