I noticed in my perusals of the Virgin schedule (and was looking to book for later in the year) that the Canberra-Townsville flight appears to have disappeared. I'd heard of it both doing well (with reports of full flights) and also of light loads. The schedules were sketchy at times too - from memory the flights were recently 4x weekly? Were the flights doing so poorly that they had to be eradicated completely, or can we assume (with some hope) that this is only a temporary measure? Thoughts...
