CBA Plat Annual Fee - Dec 1 for all?

Just noticed on my CC statement that the Annual $250 fee was charged on Dec 1.
My previous CBA Gold card annual fee was October. I've only had the Plat card since Oct.
Anyone else get this premature annual fee? Is it a standard December 1 for all cardholders? Or just 2-3 months after you join up? Can't see it anywhere in the T&Cs (not that I can find full T&Cs online). Or is it just something to help out their 4Q04 results!

In it, Section 21 states:

21. Credit fees and charges
We may debit your card account with the credit fees
and charges set out in Item G of the Schedule.
We debit the annual fee (if applicable) to your card
account on the first business day of the second month
following the first use of your card account and on or
about each anniversary of that date.
We debit the Additional Cardholder Fee (if applicable) to
your card account at the end of the statement period
of the second month following the first use of your card
account and on or about each anniversary of that date.
