Hi All - just wondering I am flying J in Cathay Mel-HK and then J in Swiss Air to LHR via Zurich. What lounges can I use - both in Melbourne (Cathay or QF??) and Hong Kong as I believe that Swiss don't have their own lounge in Hong Kong - but you can use I think Premium - but just wondering whether I can use another Star Alliance member lounge in Hong Kong. I have no idea if this is possible as I usually fly QF so it has never been an issue before - but this time got a great deal on a J fare using Cathay and Swiss Air so have gone this way to save a few dollars. Anyone flown the Swiss J product recently?

Thanks V

You can use the staralliance lounge finder to check which lounges you have access to. As you are in business class, you in theory (and if they are open at the time) should be able to access any star alliance designated business lounge - from memory SQ, TG & UA all have lounges in HKG.

In Melbourne you can use any oneworld business lounge that's open - CX, QF or MH. CX is pretty below average. QF a fraction better. MH - dunno - haven't been there since 2005!

Flew with Swiss recently from Hong Kong to Zurich and had access to the Singapore Lounge. It was quite nice and wasn't too crowded.
