Cathay lounge access + 1 guest (qantas gold)

Hi there im Qantas gold (30 points to go until platinum!) - I’m travelling HKG-PVG today on flex economy on Cathay CX - have a printed lounge invite from down town check in - I have my partner with me who is travelling HKG-ICN on CX also (economy) at the same time and wondering if anyone knows if I can bring them into the lounge with me? (We’re downtown and trying to decide if we risk one of us being turned away)

You shouldn't have any problems getting into CX business class lounge version of the Pier and the Wing (or Qantas lounge).

Hopefully you'll get your Plat and get to use the F class lounges next time. (I know I'm eyeing them in a couple of weeks to check out).

Confirmed it was completely fine. And Pier is my absolute fav lounge from previous visits. Have been into F pier lounge once pre covid which was another level of Jade wall heaven.

Better than the Plaza Premium FIRST lounge? That was the best one I have ever visited and boy am i picky when it comes to lounges (second only to the SKL J class lounge in Changi the good terminal)
