Hi all,
Hoping to fly HGK-JFK in December 2012 with a young child. At that point is the herringbone configuration in J that prevents hand-holding with your child likely to still be in place on that route?? Has anyone here successfully been able to reassure a nervous child flyer in J on Cathay in the herringbone configuration?
thanks

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

Depending on date of travel you will either be in the older "coffins" or the newest seats - in the coffins you might be able to reach over. Even in the newest seats you might not be able to reach across.

We flew DPS-HKG-ICN on the Cathay herringbone config with a young child (under 2). Initially we had booked a seat for him but we cancelled it when they changed the flight to herringbone config. It wouldn't have been possible to keep an eye on him in his own seat, they are just too private.

Both the old and new Business class are in fact herringbone.
