flying Cathay F from Hong Kong to Tokyo on award ticket, what can we (my partner and I) enjoy at the lounge?

Take a bath in a cabana perhaps?
Otherwise it's just eating, drinking and people-watching.

You have all the OneWorld lounges at your disposal, do a lounge crawl

In continuation of the design principles behind The Wing, the First Class lounge features extensive use of natural materials in keeping with the minimalist design. Reflective black glass walls and “Nero Marquina” black marble floors are accentuated by the clean, crisp white marble and the warm colours of natural Eucalyptus wood walls to create a premium but distinctive and comfortable environment.
Upon arrival at the First Class Lounge, you will be greeted with a welcome drink at our newly-introduced feature – The Champagne Bar, which will provide you with a touch of exuberance before heading to the main lounge.
The Haven remains an iconic feature of The Wing’s First Class Lounge. This hugely popular dining area has been expanded to more than double its original capacity. You can experience the greatly enhanced à la carte menu complemented by recommended wine pairings together with a wide range of Asian and Western buffet dishes.
Outside The Haven is a full-service bar surrounded by a setting of comfortable bar and armchair seating options – where you can relax and enjoy an up-close view of the airport runway over pre-meal drinks.
You may also enjoy the new style and comfort at one of the five Cabanas, which features a spacious shower, a full-sized bath and a comfortable day bed, providing a calm, relaxing and private sanctuary for you to unwind before the journey. There are also 12 luxurious shower suites available if you simply wish to freshen up before departure.
For quiet times, you can stay in touch with news and information in The Reading room where provides a variety of international magazines and newspapers. In the IT Zone, PCs and individual printers are available for you to stay connected all the time.

I would head to the airport around 3.5 hours prior to departure. This allows 30 minutes to check-in and clear immigration which can be lengthy (unless you have a Hong kong e-channel passport).

Three hours is plenty of time to enjoy the cabana for an hour, have a nice meal in the restaurant, and enjoy a glass of champagne.

I wouldn't worry too much about lounge hopping. The best CX F lounge is the one opposite Gates 1-4. Immediately to the left after you have comlpeted immigration.

What is this lounge called ? I've heard CX have many lounges in HKG including the Cabin, the Pier, the Wing, the Haven, etc

but only two First class lounges ;)

the is opposite gates 1-4. F section entrance is direct from the immigration hall level. the business class entrance is downstairs I think.

If you don't enjoy F the noodles are better in J just jump the rope at the end of the lounge !!

Haven has some nice offerings and great table service. But agree something about seeing your noodles made to order or some steam or pan fried buns.....
Also at peak times, the F Haven dining room can feel very hustle bustle, open air of noodle bar is relaxing.

I visited the Bridge lounge on both sides and am very impressed by the ambience.

Have been in the HKG F lounges few times during past year, we arrive about 4 hours before departure do some lounge hopping with Mrs Lime, good food and wines, was there 2 weeks ago.

+1 for loitering in The Wing F Lounge.

Ala Carte dining available, so arrive early enough to have a decent lunch. Follow that up by some time in one of the Cabana Rooms (baths are v nice as are the showers). Grab a coffee before you board your flight.

Enjoy!!
