Interesting offer, but doesn't seem to be extremely cheap. I feel like this is similar to their PE Asia miles offering. Solid but not making people jump out and rush to book.

Edit: did a random search. Seems as with a lot of other deals like this, it's only discounting the base fare and not the taxes + surcharge which actually make up a significant portion of the cost.

Still solid deal if you want to specifically go to HK.

Furthermore, it’s only applicable to the Essential fare class, not the most restrictive Light fares. Agree that if you specifically want to go only to HK then this is quite good, but otherwise you can regularly find similarly priced fares if you fly onwards to other destinations in Asia, with a stopover in HK.
