Huge amount to withdraw here pending won't go through, they were Accor Refundable bookings
which have been cancelled. Booked Non Refundable bookings a few days back through Shopback.
I hope there won't be any situations where part of the pending is simply canceled.

Am I missing something here? I thought TopCashBack offers 6% on Accor
Yep

Accor Elite Members (Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond) Cashback 2%

21c Museum, Adagio Premium, Fairmont, Grand Mercure, Hyde, Mantis, MGallery, Mondrian, Movenpick, Pullman, Raffles, Rixos, SBE, Sebel, SLS, SO, Sofitel, Swissotel. PLEASE NOTE: cashback is ineligible on all other hotels for Accor Elite members.

It will be interesting to see how many transactions will be declined 🤔

Yeah, can’t believe this. Most pending transactions are because the vendor hasn’t confirmed or in the case of many bookings could be in the future and in particular able to be cancelled.
Hard to believe they will pay out all of these.
In my case not taking the risk, cancelled myself and rebooked via Shopback as cash back rate is the same. As it’s 3 weeks away I guess I could have waited a few days to see how it played out!

Yikes! So I guess that leaves Shopback. With that being said, now that CashRewards is no longer part of the equation, one has to wonder how often we'll see those lucrative cash back offers on Accor properties (i.e. 12% cash back on stays in NZ).

Disappointed to seem them go - racked up almost 4k over the years but had been favouring TCB and SB in recent times because CR geoblocked the site which is not helpful when you spend long periods overseas.

Yep, I can't change password, can't change bank account, SMS verifications are taking ages to arrive that they are already expired before they arrive.
I couldn’t get the app to load so went through the website - that might be useful to you if you can’t change bank accounts but have a PayPal account, the site allowed me to link that. I withdrew my balance and awaiting confirmation of my cashback for my two nights at CP Mascot attending the Aff Masterclass last weekend.

I switched to www.cashbackaustralia.com.au ages ago and never looked back.
That one is missing a whole raft of travel providers that are on the other platforms, like Accor, Virgin, Singapore Airlines, Expedia, Air New Zealand, Agoda, Booking.com. Hell, even large department store providers like Myer and Amazon are missing.

My first search on the site was for Virgin, as CB from that spend has been my biggest earner - I'm happy to check their rates going forward, but I didn't see anything that stood out on my initial look.

Indeed. I checked the main stores that I use via Shopback and none of them were listed.

Having done a bit of searching on them I think they're pretty new (like only three months or so) and perhaps I'm being a little harsh pointing out everything that's missing when they're just getting up and running. I wish them well, more competition is always great and drives others to do better so I hope they do start adding more sellers.

Having said that, it seems like it's a pretty competitive space, Cashrewards is now the second cashback service to go down in the last 12 months (the other being MyAmexShop) so it does seem like it's a tough sector to make a go of.

Absolutely wild to me that the national airline of New Zealand owned the company. You’d think they’d lose enough money operating their airline as it is! /sarcasm

So I guess that leaves us with ShopBack and TopCashBack, the latter of which does have decent cashback for Accor.
In this circumstance ANZ is the commonly used abbreviation for ANZ Bank (Australia and New Zealand Banking Group).
So it is a bank people are referring to here.
In airline circles people may use ANZ for Air New Zealand, but such use is much less common in Australia.

I think you may have missed the /sarcasm part of @kangarooflyer88’s post.

Damn, that's sad news.

I was fortunate enough to have dinner with the CEO and @tightarse one day, back in the day when Cashrewards was growing (at a rapid rate). I've always been a firm believer in it, but I guess once ANZ took over and didn't know how to run the platform well, it started decaying.

Was a good run while it lasted:
