At the last MasterClass I was made aware that it was possible to manipulate your way through to a sub-5k cash fare in J to North America with a fistful of status credits if you originate your fare in Fiji.

Does anyone know whether this is possible for Europe?

Who is the name of the travel agent I talk to for similar?

Much cheaper J fares to Europe out of most of SEAsia..

Possible awards up or LCCs including Jetstar, Scoot and AirAsia.
Many are happy to do an economy flight for the daytime flight to Asia... Albeit harder to get daytime flights on the return.

We got $3,100 return last year to EU on QR prepositioning in BKK

Similar fares were avail from KUL
I've been looking at fares ex-KUL while planning how to bookend a transatlantic cruise I have in 2027. While QR is available, KUL also has ~$3.7k fares on CX to much of Europe with 200SCs each way (so slightly better than QR out of CGK in that regard which has 160SCs each way, and no visa is required either). AIUI, CX is also more willing to through-check baggage on different tickets back from Europe too.

Add MEL/SYD-SIN-KUL on QF in Y Saver during DSCs and you'd be looking at about another 180SCs. That's SG renewal almost sorted.
