MP, yes I would like points. I am putting it on the WQEDRCC however (not amex, I just happened to find this thread), and I guess I'd get 1pt per $1. I think you have the dealerships from memory , is one of them Ford by any chance?

Is it correct that your cc fees are decided by yr bank? Is it around 1%?

Check out Westfield and they will do it to get a sale for sure. It won't be as many as you think...

Ok, thanks, I'll ask Westfield tomorrow, is the idea to go to the Info desk and enquire about XS cards? Which cards will give best points and / or discount on purchase? I'm gonna have to use the Woolworths Qantas EDR CC.

If possible get a Platinum card that will give you higher points earn.

Amex Plat Edge card gives 3 points on supermarket purchases, 2 points on fuel or items bought at the servo shop, and 1 point on other purchases. Join up provides 10,000 points, but you get 15,000 sign-up points if someone refers you. I am happy to refer you as I will also receive points for the referal. It is a good card for points building. pm me if interested.

Be careful of the stated earn on bank sponsored amex as some like westpac state 3 points per $ but the conversion to say SQ Krisflyer is at 2:1 so earn is really 1.5 points per $.

This is the ANZ Frequent Flyer Qantas card I was talking about ANZ Frequent Flyer Platinum - Platinum Credit Cards | ANZ
I know its 1.5 QFF points per $A1 because I have this card myself.

Thanks for your kind offer, but I've already got my eyes set on the 80k sign on bonus offer with the pure* Amex.

*Pure meaning non-bank affiliated
