Can't search classic reward seat

You can still search on QF. Just to a multi-city search with something like:

Flight 1: SYD-MEL on a day before the flight/date you’re really after

Then you should be able to add
Flight 2: XYZ to ABC.

If there award seats for Flight 2, then call QF.

Thanks for the quick reply and advice! Yes, while that online search method would at least alleviate calling Qantas, it would still require me running the query every day until a seat may become available. Hence, my question was specifically about an alert tool.

I guess I will try seats.aero with an alert for EK and then check Q site. Will report back on the outcome…

Just a reminder that EK F seats won't be searchable by alert sites anymore (fine for other booking class).

The requirement for silver denies those sites the ability to see it.
