Hey All,

I had a bit of a search around but I must admit to being a little under the pump right now after our circumstances changed.

Medical reasons have meant that instead of returning from Europe London->Singapore-> Perth in late June we are looking at end of April Rome->Dubai->Perth.

I know I can pull forward the dates for london->singapore->Perth but it will be much more convinient to go via Rome Dubai Perth.

Also am I correct in saying that the point penalty is pretty similiar anyway (5000 points vs 3500 per person).

Can this be done? Can I cancel the return leg and then use points to book a new itinerary?

Thanks for your help

Simon

I wouldn't think it would be a drama as long as there are seats available to book with points.

If travel has commenced you will not be able to cancel without full loss of points as once travel had commenced on a booking, the award is considered "used".

See section 14.9 of the T&C ... http://www.qantas.com.au/fflyer/dyn/program/terms#jump13

You can change dates, times, and routing add long as origin/ destination for the trip remain the same.
