Hey everyone im new here, its seems like a good forum im glad i found the website.

I used to search feature and had a quick look i found some relevant information but most of it was to do with dui's so i wanted to ask my question specifically for my situation.

Im currently in the process of applying for a Canadian working holiday visa, i am an australian and being a victorian i have to supply a traffic history record. On my record i have 3 offences in the last 5 years, 2 for minor speeding infractions and one for not having a seatbelt properly fastened. But the thing thats got me worried is my charge of driving in a dangerous manner, this offense happened more than 5 years ago and i was convicted more than 5 years ago. The charge simply states that:

Driving in a dangerous manner
Date of offense: 08/12/2004
Car Permit or license suspended
for 6 months from 07/01/2004

In 2006 i Traveled to Europe on a UK work visa with no problems in 2007 i returned to europe and the same year i traveled to the united states, never a hint of a problem, this is my only conviction/charge other than the minor speeding infractions so its obviously i learned my lesson and with the conviction being over 5 years old am i at a great risk of being denied a working holiday visa?

Information from anyone whose been in the same situation or anyone who knows what happens in this situation, i would greatly appreciate advice, just how picky is the whp program i know my friend recently obtained the same visa through a whp program and he had a recent theft charge. I would have thought traffic related charges carried a lot less seriousness, Thank you
