I did a bit of cleaning up and found an unused/unactivated prepaid simcard for Koodo (Telus network).

I forgot what's included. The receipt states I paid for a $20 Nano sim and $25 prepaid recharge for boosters/add-ons. Apparently there is a $20 activation bonus promo right now: https://www.koodomobile.com/prepaid-plans

I bought it last year but never ended up using it, and I won't be returning to Canada for the foreseeable future. I called up Koodo and they said as long as it hasn't been activated, the sim is still valid. So if problems arise you can always go to a Koodo store as the activation code is on the receipt.

Useful if you're going to Canada followed by USA as you can activate US travel with the prepaid recharge.

I also have a Compass (YVR) and Opus (YUL) metro card that may or may not have credit left.

Im going to Toronto Tues week and was just looking up prepaid sim cards....does it come with data? :)...in which case I would be interested in it.

thanks Viridianne...as per PM, as i will be needing to use the SIM card in the US pre / post the Toronto trip, i think you card is best value for someone using it mainly in Canada. thanks again for offering it :)

Hi Viridianne, I have a trip to YVR coming up, perhaps I could try the Compass card please.

KPC- not sure what you need, but I just picked up an AT+T go phone $45 month prepaid "plan" with data calls and text through USA Canada and Mexico so no need to much around. I'm tethering it to my normal number for iMessage and I get free SMS to au with it too!

Currently in Toronto :) I bought the following SIM card from Sim Corner at Sydney airport, and they activated it for me so it was ready to use as soon I landed in DFW. It has worked well in Dallas and here in Toronto, so I'm happy with it. https://www.simcorner.com/shop/usa/50-usa-prepaid-sim-card.html
