Today I received a Email from WestJet which outline's the plans of Canada's second biggest Airline to commence the first ever Transatlantic service " across the Pond" ( over the Atlantic Canada to Europe.)
The Route will be albeit a seasonal service from St John's ( located In The Canadian Province of New Foundland & Labrador) to Dublin , running daily in Summer 2014.
Certainly this route will be ideal for fans of Celtic history, culture & traditions.
Here's the link,
Ireland
I know having previously had the odd conversation with people in Westjet's Calgary HQ that airline has had ambitions for quite sometime to fly to Europe, & I am myself are pleased that the plans turn turned into a reality.
Here's hoping that WestJet have success across the ditch & that new routes are Launched into the future to other European Ports from Canada to give some well needed competition to all Traveller's alike.
