I flew on that plane on 29 Sept. (QF2349). The crew mentioned that it was the third flight for that aircraft in oz and it had come from Toronto. The interior was curved with smooth lines throughout and still had the new plane smell. The overall aircraft noise was much less than older Dash 8's I've flown on in the QF fleet.

Gee, and I thought flying Y in a 747 overseas was bad :)

Second-hand model by the look of that leading edge!
If that was on the delivery flight, he flew too close to the volcano.

LOL, I suspect its a 100 series, possibly VH- TGT C/N 009, TAA only bought two and one headed to PNG for a short life in Sunbird colours, latter models had less windows down the starboard side.
