Are you able to cancel partner awards online or do you have to ring? Am thinking about an iberia award from Frankfurt to Miami if my LH F award does not come off given LM shaky status at present. Thanks

Does it matter? It's only in the case that you can cancel on-line that you'll be charged an extra fee for using the call centre.

Yes it does matter where you are half way around the world with the call wait times

If it helps, I used an iPhone app called Sudo to call qantas while I was in Hong Kong.

It gives you a US number, and free calls to Australian numbers.

I called +61 131 313 and it worked fine.

It just goes over the internet so I used my hotel’s wifi. Was perfect for when I needed to be on hold for an hour to change my flights.

It should work from anywhere that there’s a wifi connection. Not sure if the same app exists for android phones

Wow, thanks. That's an awesome app. I tried it just now with a random Govt number which only has operators on weekdays. Went straight thru ! Haha. Better than FaceTime
