Can I use my asia miles to upgrade my husband?

Hi all, my husband's ticket is being paid for by work and I would like to upgrade him using my points on the way home. Is this possible? I know I can use my points for a straight redemption but can't see anything regarding upgrading a redemption nominee.

The title of the thread confused me a little. I thought that we were entering a whole new world of point usage.

Yep you can, give the local CX office a call and they'll process it for you.

Make sure hubby is in the redemption group prior to calling.

kind of similar - can i use my points to book a ticket for my girlfriend? any links to this redemption group you mention would be great! is it similar to Krisflyer and being able to use my miles for me + up to 5 others?
