Hi all, could anyone please provide me some information about it?
I recently took Singapore Airline from Sydney to Beijing and just came back a couple of days ago. I'm just wondering if I can apply frequent flyer and get the mileage point for my travel. (I retained my both of boarding tickets) And how should I proceed? Any information will be welcome.

Mileage after flight

As long as you have the boarding passes you should be fine. It depends though on who you travelled with how to go about it.
If it was singapore airlines with a singapore flight number then you should go to www.singaporeairlines.com.au and click on the FAQ's. One of the topics..."What do i do if my points don't show up on my account.." Fill out the retroactive mileage claim form thats higlighted. The address is on the form.
Some airlines can credit them over the phone if the flight was with them so it might pay to call the centre first.
hope this helps

thanks a lot Dazzler.
I do keep the boarding passes, but I haven't got frequent flyer yet. Should I apply for the frequent flyer or Singapore Airline KrisFlyer member? And can the mileages of my last travel contribute to this newly applied membership?

Krisflyer is the frequent flyer program run by Singapore Airlines. In order to gain points from your last fight, you have to be either already a member of a star alliance airline's frequent flyer program or now become a member of Krisflyer. I suggest that you give a call to Singapore Airlines (or surf their website) to see if your travel prior to becoming a Krisflyer member is eligible for points.
In any case, just become a Krisflyer member asap over the web, it does not cost anything. If you get the points it is great. Else, nothing lost.

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

This is from SQ website:
29.Can I claim miles for flights taken prior to joining the programme?

You can claim miles retroactively for Singapore Airlines and SilkAir flights up to 30 days prior to enrolling in the KrisFlyer programme. If you fall into this category, click here on Retroactive Mileage Claim Form and request your first mileage credit.
So you need to become a member within 30 days of your flight.
